Project Name – Events Management System

Event planner is the application to manage and development of festivals, events and conferences.
Proposed work Involves study of identifying the target of budget, cost, and analysis. This is an
online event planner system, software project that serves the functionality of an event manager. The
project provides most of the basic functionality required for an event. It allows the user to select
from list of event types. Event Management System is very helpful for events.
This application being as a platform to know the events, to apply for the events. Event organizer is
an application under project management for managing festivals or social events like gathering,
colleges, events, conferences etc. by this application user can register the students, after registering,
user can login, after login, event details including name ,contact, address, venue of the event, date,
event conducting time, cost of events etc.
The Events Management System is a comprehensive software solution designed to streamline the
process of organizing and managing events. The system provides three distinct panels, namely User,
Organizer, and Admin, each with their specific roles and functionalities.

1. User Panel:
– The User Panel is accessible to individuals interested in attending events.
– Users can create accounts, browse through a wide range of events, and view detailed event
information.
– They can register for events, purchase credits, and book events or confirmations via email.
– Users can also provide feedback for events they have attended.
2. Organizer Panel:
– The Organizer Panel is designed for event organizers and managers.
– Organizers can create and manage events, including defining event details, such as title, date,
time, venue, and ticket pricing.
– They can set event capacities and monitor the number of registrations.
– Organizers can also add new events
– Additionally, organizers can purchase credits for add new events book events according to
his/her requirements.

3. Admin Panel:
– The Admin Panel is reserved for system administrators or designated personnel with
administrative privileges.
– Admins have overall control and monitoring capabilities of the system.
– They can manage user accounts, verify event organizers, and handle any disputes or issues that
may arise.
– Admins can generate system-wide reports, monitor system performance, and perform regular
maintenance tasks.
– They also ensure the security and integrity of the system by implementing necessary security
measures.

Hardware Requirements :
A Disc Space of 40 GB, an IBM Compatible PC, a Pentium 3 processor, a RAM of
512 MB AND a 32 Bit File system are needed.

Software Requirements :
An Windows XP at server and client side, Client End Language-HTML, Local
Validation-PHP, Server Side Language-PHP, MySql 2000 Database, a XAMPP Web Server
and an Internet Explorer 8/ Mozilla Firefox/ chrome are required.
